I'm 35+6 and think I'm having contractions

In freaking out. DH is working 2 hours away, having strong period pains, this is DC2 so I'm pretty sure they are some sort of contractions. But no waters gone and no sign of mucous plug. What do I do? Have my DS here with me too. Have timed them, last 3 have been 7 mins apart. Been having them an hour and 20 mins. Confused

Hi, how are you doing now? I'm guessing it's either erased off or you've gone in to the hospital?

Hope the op is OK! Surprised this went unanswered for so long!

Hi, I ended up at the hospital getting checked out. They have said to just come home and see how it goes. It could be early labour or it might fizzle out. I'm not having pains very often now so I think it's going to stop soon. But hey didn't even examine me to see if I was dilating or anything Confused

I hope you're feeling even better now, but it might be worth packing your hospital bag.
Can you get a mw apt in the next few days for a check up?

Hi seashell I actually have my 36 week midwife appointment on Monday which is lucky. I have already packed the baby hospital bag ready, just need one for myself. I feel ok at the moment, just twingy pains rather than strong pains like this morning.

Thanks missgraeme

I don't really enjoy being pregnant so half of me was feeling excited to get going and get it over with, but the other half wants it to hang on another week so it's full term.

Have DSD and DS here tonight so would be a right drama of anything happened overnight! Already had DSD in tears saying she is worried about me going through pain. She wasn't too worried when I had DS though Smile for some reason had it in her head she would have to watch! Grin
