Any major pharmacy should stick it - I used the general fluid and IT WAS AMAZING. Seriously.
I had a small episiotomy with my first and I had a fridge in my recovery room. Made silence to keep the witch hazel in there. I would pour some on my pads and then put the pads on. Utter relief and bliss. And the smell is nice too, even now it takes me back to the birth of both my kids...

Stock up in arnica too. Start taking it a few days before you're due and for a few days after. Brilliant if you have a tear or episiotomy to reduce bruising. I took it in little pill form but I think you can get sticks and cream also.

I got distilled witch hazel at boots, put it in a little travel spray bottle with a couple drops of lavender and tea tree oil. Sprayed onto pads at first and sometimes just straight on. After things had settled a bit I used a gel also, but the wounds would need to be closed first for that, as the gel contains alcohol. It really is the most amazing feeling!
