I thought you got a goody bag if your waters broke in mothercare?! Also one if they broke in John Lewis! Where I live these shops are next door to one another so you could run between and try to get both?

Ha! I seem to think m and s offer something. I was doing my aldi shop today at 39+6 and wondered if I might get a freeby if waters broke! Would be embarrassing mind!!!

The trade-off is you have to name your newborn after any/all members of staff who help you

If the customer service is still as bad as it was, they will probably leave you and lock up for the night.

I knew someone who worked in M&S and she confirmed you would probably get something for free but it would depend on/be at the discretion of whoever was on the till - most likely free replacement pair of pants Wink

You probably have to do a daily mail article so that the shop look good in the papers by giving you free stuff Wink

The problem you'll face is that by the time you get a Mothercare assistant to notice what's going on your new child will be ready to start primary school.

My aunties water broke in morrisons and she got free nappies, baby wipes and some other baby toiletries. I kept nipping in when pregnant with DD but it didn't work haha Smile

If you go into labour there, I'd get out quickly! Our nearest mothercare is filthy, and the customer service isn't the best...
