Vaginal birth after episiotomy

Any experience? I had one which was hellish at the time but which has now healed up quite well. Wondering what will happen if I give birth to DC2 vaginally.

I did and my episiotomy scar was fine.

I had an episiotomy with dc1. Mild tear with dc2 and a few stitches. About the same healing wise (both were fine). Good luck!

Also wondering about this. If I need another one (big baby last time and had a forceps delivery), will it be done near/over the last one? Will the scar tissue from my first (not bad but still there) affect healing this time?

Sorry for jumping on your post OP but would also be very interested in other posters experience!

I did first episiotomy scar was bad I also tore. Second birth I did pay attention to the mid-wife when told to stop pushing when head was crowning and I had no tearing or anything at all.

I'm worried about this too, after episiotomy and internal tearing with dc1. Pretty scared about straining that whole area if I have a second child.

My scar tissue had no impact on healing from my tear the second time around.
