Anyone had IV antibiotics in labour?

& if so, did it limit you moving around in any way? Any other advice/info about them also welcome. Ta

I had IV antibiotics quite late in my labour and moving around was the last thing on my mind. I also had an epidural so that limited me more than anything else.

I had them from the start and, like Podmog, got a little wheelie drip stand. It was no problem to walk around; actually it was nice to have something to lean on a bit (but not too much!).

I had them too - didn't restrict my movement.

sorry to be the one who says something different but I found the drip did limit my movement.However it went through in about 20 minutes and then they removed the drip and closed off the thing in my hand.Then it was fine.
Having it put in is a bit of a bind, especially if like me you have a midwife who waits until the peak of a contraction to do stuff to you. So you end up wanting to scream" will you please f* off and leave me alone"!!!!!
