Sharp pain after c-section 10 days ago

Hi, I had my dd via elcs 10 days ago and have been experiencing a sharp pain in my right side, internally behind the scar and above for about a week. It feels like a sharp tearing pain that mainly comes when I bend down or sit/stand up, although sometimes hurts when I walk. It is not on the top of the scar, definitely feels internal. I have a lot of bruising as dd was stuck in my pelvis and they had to do a lot of pulling and pushing to get her out, and there is a very large bruise where most of the pain is so I'm not sure if is just the internal bruising causing the pain or something else. Has anyone else had anything like this?

I've spoken to my midwife and she isn't sure as I don't have any signs of infection, feel fine otherwise and the scar looks fine from the outside. She thinks it is probably internal bruising but isn't sure and has suggested I go to drs. Only trouble is have to pay to see dr here and is a 20 min drive so don't want to go if this is just normal after C-section. This is my 2nd section and didn't have this last time so I'm unsure...

Be grateful for other peoples experiences!

I had this exact internal feeling until 6 weeks, where it seemed to just disappear. I was told it's your nerve endings rejoicing and is a good sign. Just get lots of rest.xx

I had it all along my front though, like the layer inside were tender.

Oh thanks RRRJ83 that's useful to know! It is tender where the bruising is too, so was hoping that it is just because that is where most of the pushing/pulling was and not that I'd torn anything inside!

I had this (I think it's the same), it was much worse after sitting for a while and excruciating getting up in the morning. My GP said it was probably 'just' a stitch slightly out of place.
