Hi all, I'm 37+4 with DC1 and guess I may have a few weeks to go but who knows. I'm reasonably relaxed about the birth (as much as anyone can be) but I have a bit of a fear of not getting to the hospital on time. I think I'm one of these people who needs to be in a 'safe place' surrounded by experts. Anyway this fear isn't helped by the knowledge that being redirected to Livingston St Johns is a possibility in Edinburgh and I'm only about a 15 mins drive from the ERI in quiet traffic. I'm actually having sleepless nights about the thought of battling through traffic to get to St Johns while I'm contracting in the car.....all my Edinburgh friends have had their babies fine at the ERI so am I needlessly worrying?!
