I had DS2 fifteen weeks ago - second vaginal delivery and 2nd degree tear again and no, I haven't been doing pelvic floor exercises because I am an idiot.
Had a persistent cough for a week and then mild cramps that felt like period pains. I was annoyed, assuming my period was coming despite ebfing.
But - there is now a flesh coloured lump hanging in my vagina. It doesn't hurt but I am conscious of it. I felt sort of...unsecured when I discovered it yesterday morning but did pelvic floor exercises for about an hour straight and that feeling has gone but the lump is still protruding.
Is this a prolapse? I have a smear test booked for Tuesday, can I have it looked at then or should I make a separate appointment?
I know that I definitely don't want to Google this but I'm feeling a sense of fascinated horror about it...can anyone tell me more (hopefully something reassuring!)?
