Please forgive the ignorance of this post, but this is my first baby, so am not entirely up on the process and who you go to for what.
I now have a private ob who works out of St Mary's Hospital in London. if you go to an obstetrician is the assumption always that you want a vaginal birth? Do some obs only do vaginal births? If I want a caesarean, do I have to "pick" a surgeon? Or does the ob do that for me? Is the ob there during the surgery?
