37 weeks pregnant and tomorrow I have a meeting with the consultant regarding attempting a vaginal birth again this time. Up until last week I was having an ELCS due to 2 previous EMCS. I also had been told that the baby was breech so had thought there was no point trying to fight it. However when I went in to see the consultant last week he asked if I would like to attempt a VBA2C. He felt my stomach and said that the baby had turned so I could try if I wanted to and gave me a week to decide. He said that research showed that the risks of rupture are not much higher than after 1 previous section. He also said that the hospital I would be in does not have a lot of experience in women attempting it.
What I want to know is am I crazy for considering it, and has anyone else tried and been successful?

how old are your other children?
I don't know how much info there is for a VBAC after 2 sections, I hope people who had that will turn uop soon to help you.
I had ELSC with DS4, then two normal births afterwards. currently 6 months pg and hoping baby will turn in time (transverse atm).
the way I see it all births carry risks, but in your case (and mine) membrane rapturing as a possible risk is already known, so if something happens they can be prepared IYSWIM.
or should be prepared...them saying they haven't got much experience with VBACs would make me feel unsettled!
it's tricky. I understand that trying for a vaginal birth is something you want to do for so many reasons and it's too tempting to go for it!
I would ask more questions - will you be monitored constantly, will they look after you on high risk unit while in labour, who are the senior staff that could be called in, does any of them have experience when things did go wrong, what were the signs and results etc.
