I read a book called 'stand and deliver' which was really good. Don't think it was specifically about homebirth, but it definitely featured.

home birth by nicky wesson is also brilliant. For anyone not just people planning an HB.

YY to Ina May and Nicky Wesson.

Both were hugely influential in my HB with DD1 and I'm going to reread them soon before I give birth to DC2 in July!

I also recommend watching Ricki Lake's The Business of Being Born. Watching it was the moment I decided for definite not to have my baby in a hospital.

Thanks everyone Smile
I havnt decided on a home birth or not yet, but considering it so wanted a read to help me make up my mind.
My labour with DS was pretty quick & due to my home situation (DP in the army living 2 hours away & family all 1 hour with no other real childcare for DS) Midwife has told me to possibly consider a home birth & if the pregnancy continues to go well to have a home birth team set up just encase I have another quick one and need to push before anyone can reach me.
