How quickly can you go from 'unfavourable' to 'favourable'?

Saw obst yesterday and he said that although it has softened, my cervix is still unfavourable. So wondered if anyone knew what the turnaround time was for a cervix and its favourability?? God, I wish I had a well behaved cervix.

Course, bloody Enid is all go, and on my ante-natal thread! Though she is due before me, so as you were, Enid. Sorry.

dunno. Mine was soft but still long (or something) at 41 weeks, but in a fit state to have a sweep done - ds was born 8 days later. But he wasn't very well positioned I don't think, so prob not enough pressure on my cervix to hurry things along.

Are you doing all the usual shagging and pineapple-eating? Bouncing on a birth ball? Scrubbing the kitchen floor?

Bouj - with ds my cervix was 'so called unfavourable' when I was in labour. Just don't think it is an exact science.

And as far as enid goes - I AM DUE BEFORE HER!!!!!! Envy Envy Envy Am now 4 days over, so no-one else on the May thread has any right to a baby before me Wink

ah, me too. Ds was horribly late, and I fear this one will be too. Seems I make lazy children!

My Dad said I was obviously issued with a 'low heat' cooker.
