What do you do with the pool afterwards? Ive bought my pool (was happy to rent, but found they were bizarrely twice the price) and I dont really know what to do with it afterwards.. Ebay? Ball pool? Garden feature?

Lent it out once, then used it as a paddling pool, lasted a few weeks before it had too many punctures to mend.

I eventually Freecycled mine. As I understand it it was then passed onto someone else so has had to more babies born in it :)

You keep it and use it in the garden in summer or you pass it on or sell it. They go OK on ebay or look up local FB groups.

My pools were both given to me by friends who had used them, the first I kept and used as a paddling pool as it had developed a slow leak that I hadn't managed to fix so it couldn't get passed on. The second one (which I never actually got to use!) I passed on to someone else.

Mine's on eBay now. We'll see if it sells, if not I might stick it back in the next NCT sale which is wher I picked it up from in the first place.

If someone local wanted one I would probably give it away.

How much did you get, Fliss?

Ooh NCT sale is a good idea. A quick search on eBay shows there's not that many around, and don't seem to sell for much? A major restriction is that they tend to be local collection only

Gutted I didnt find a local one for such good eBay prices actually ( wondering if I can send my unopened one back if I spot a mini one in Brum )

How much was the one from NCT sale?

I've kept mine and use it as a ball pool. I'm too sentimental about it to sell it and DS1 (who was born in it) is as well. I've got a photo of him aged 5 sat in the exact place he was born that he asked me to take.

I freecycled my first one (got it from freecycle in the first place) and borrowed the second so just gave it back to my friend. She ebayed it after that, don't know how much she got for it though. It was a bit awkward as she ebayed it advertising it as coming with a cover and later discovered we had accidentally binned the cover thinking it was a liner. Cue a scramble on our part to buy a brand new cover and send it to the recipient of the pool!
