I have a pad on this morning and so far have just had normal cm (well, normal for pregnancy anyway smile )

I'll call her anyway, better safe than sorry!

Wear a pad to make it easier to monitor what's coming out. It is not unusual for the vaginal discharge to become thinner and more copious as the cervix ripens. However, it might be a small leak of fluid that needs to be managed as ruptured membranes.

Thanks Niggle.

I'll feel a wally if its just watery cm blush

I think I'll give it until lunchtime and then give the midwife a call.

You should go in and get checked, not as an emergency, but ring them. (I felt like a real pain ringing them about this as I felt so well, but they want to see you) If it is your waters they'll want to keep a close eye on you for infection if you dont go into labour. It sounds like it could be, not everyone gets masses of fluid. Good luck smile

Ok I'm trying not to get too excited as I don't generally feel like baby is on the way, iyswim....

Last night when I got up (one of the 100's of times smile ) to go to the loo my pyjamas were wet with a clear odourless fluid. Not soaking - the bedsheets were dry - but pj's were definitely wet, I would say a few teaspoons of fluid.

I changed into dry knickers and they were very slightly wet again this morning, more like one or two teaspoons. Again a clear odourless fluid.

I'm finding it confusing as I have been experiencing immense amounts quite a lots of vaginal discharge which can be very moist (eww) at times, but it is thicker and yellowy usually (sorry tmi) and this didn't seem the same.

I have a pad on now and will monitor it today, but could I be leaking amniotic fluid? Aside from this I have been getting braxton hicks on and off, I wouldn't say regularly.....

Thanks.
