We've got our ducks!

Went and got them today. We have dark mallard, fawn and white and chocolate runner ducks. We've named them Margot, Daphne and Celeste. They're great, but a bit skittish.

They lived in a barn before and were dirty and smelly, so are looking cleaner and healthier already. Our neighbours love them too!

Aw I love runner ducks, congrats! I had some ducks a while back and struggled to get them tame but hopefully yours will be better!

They are wary, but still early days. One of them still has pin feathers and down so hopefully being so young will help. They're great fun to watch!

Mine help me in the garden, I let them in if I'm working there as they come & clear up slug eggs when I'm digging.
They follow me around like the dogs & chatter.
