I used to have cochins. They are gorgeous. Very sensible and 'mumsy' type hens They don't like getting their feathered feet wet and muddy. I used to hear mine trailing after me with a sinister slipper sound, I used to start to run and the slipper sound became quicker
They are soft-feathered and fluffy-footed are they not? I have soft-feathered fluffy-footed bantams and the main thing is making sure they have somewhere dry to shelter when the weather is wet.Good luck, cochins are gorgeous.
Anyone got any tips for keeping cochins
