Raising money for Great Ormond Street Hospital

Hi all . My daughter Tiana was born in December 2007 with 2 heart defects, one of which is very rare called Alcapa, which went undiscovered until she was 10 weeks old. Tiana was transferred from Norfolk to Great Ormond Street Hospital on 5th march this year where she had two operations. It was touch and go for a while but with the fantastic care of the nurses there Tiana recovered and was transferred back to hospital in Norfolk in April where she continued with her recovery. Tiana finally came home at the beginning of June and is now doing really well.

My partner Kev is doing a 10,000 ft solo parachute jump on August 17th to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital to say thanks for saving our beautiful daughter's life.

You can read Tiana's story in full by visiting her personal blog www.bravetiana.uk

If anyone would be interested in sponsoring Kev then you can do so by going to www.justgiving.com/tianamackay

Emphasis: To bold a word, surround it with asterisks, so *hello* will display hello. For underline use _ , so _hello_ gives hello. For italics use ^, so ^hello^ gives hello. To strike out a word, surround it with two hyphens either side, so --dog-- gives dog

Links and smileys: To insert a smiley face, , type [smile] or :)
For a big grin, , type [grin] or :o
For a wink, , type [wink]

Links The simplest way to insert a link is to enter the link itself, surrounded by [[ and ]]. So if you type [[www.mumsnet.com]], the link will display as http://www.mumsnet.com. If you want your link to display text other than the web address itself, leave a space after the address then add the text before the ]]. So "Look at [[www.mumsnet.com this page]]", would display "Look at this page".
