Hi! I work for Misión México (UK), a London and Gasgow based charity that provides fundraising and administrative support for Albergue Misión México - lovelifehope.com/ - a children’s orphanage in Tapachula, Southern Mexico, which provides refuge and hope to abandoned, abused and disadvantaged children. It gives a home, a family, education and opportunities to help the 50 children in their care to overcome their their pasts and aspire to a better future. Misión México (UK) became a registered charity (number SC042838) in January 2011.

We are looking for volunteers here in the UK to help us with events, fundraising and admin. We are also in need of an experienced Fundraising Trustee. The MM team is a lot of fun - we've hosted events in London, Cornwall and the Peak District, doing everything from surfing and running to moustache parties and dinners to raise money for the refufe!

Basically, we are need of fun, creative, inventive people to help us do the best we can for the kids in Tapachula.

If you're interested in helping us out, and meeting some new folk and learning in the process, then email me at deborah@lovelifehope.com.

Cheers! thanks
Deborah, Mision Mexico
