Op is just asking for support for a little boy and his family, nothing untoward.
Wow some of you are in a miserable mood! The child's illness has been reported in the press too here. The point of facebook pages is for them to be shared.

Maybe it helps the parents to see how many people are interested and are willing the little lad to better health. Reported it? Whatever for? Members on MN have linked to FB when their little ones are in the middle of a life threatening crisis. That someone has 'liked' a face book page may bring the parents great comfort, and writing a kind of blog on the page is probably really helpfully for them, writing everything down. At a loss to see why that makes you unreasonable. If you know the lad OP, I hope he gets better real soon; and if his Mum is a Mner, be strong x
