THIS IS FROM MY 13 YR OLD SONS BLOG PLEASE READ ON ...
My 4 year old brother Edward suffers from life threatening Allergies and I want to help raise awareness. So I have decided to Ride 365 Miles on my Bike.
This is what we did in September.
Article on Allergy Uk Website -
He might only be four years old, but Edward Kelley is an athlete in the making! In September, Edward travelled to Newcastle to take part in the Bupa Great North Run for Allergy UK and ran one mile in 12 minutes!
Allergies run in the family. Both Edward and his mum suffer with life-threatening allergies which affect the family's everyday life. Edward has two brothers and his older brother Ashley, ran the full 13.1 miles in the Bupa Great North Run in support of Allergy UK.
Edward and Ashley helped raise money for Allergy UK and most importantly raise awareness of allergies, making their parents very proud.
Now I am going to try to raise more awareness by riding my bike to & from school everyday for 10 weeks. In all I will be riding 375 Miles. Whilst doing this I hope to not only raise money but more importantly try & let lots of people know of this dibilitating illness.
If you would like to follow my progress or know more about allergies please visit www.allergyuk.org Or my just giving page www.justgiving.com/Ashley-James-Greaves
