I was stationary in car and hit on front passenger quarter by someone reversing at speed who later failed a breath test.
Over a week later my insurers are writing my 5 year old car, high mileage, but I have owned since new, car off. His insurers have admitted full liability.

What do I do next, I only have a loan car for 4 days, do I accept the first offer for mine or is there any haggle room?

I am also injured and have a separate claim on going for injuries, but until I am fit to return to work don't know how long this will take.

Apologies if this should be in legal, what would you do?

I had similar a long time ago. I haggled and got a bit more for the car.

Is it fixable? Do you want to buy the car back from the insurance and keep it?

Def, haggle.

When they call and tell you how much you're getting for the car, say you were expecting more than that.

I'm my experience, they'll come back with a better offer.
