Returns policy looks horrific ... any advice. In London and thinking about driving to wherever it needs to go as prob will be cheaper.

Anyone ever done that?

Sorry but in my experience you will end up paying for the courier from your refund.

I ordered a Nania car seat through Kiddicare (a group 0-1 convertible). The website didn't make it clear that it was rearward facing to 10kg then forward from 9-18kg - I had only ever heard of 10-13kg rearward then 9-18kg forward (a la britax 1st class). Even other websites had it down as a 0-18kg rear/forward car seat.

I had even done the live chat thing with one of their customer service bods re. the height of the the top slot on the car seat as I had explained I wanted the seat to replace a baby bucket so my DD could rear face as long as poss. No mention of the 10kg rear face limit at all.

They still didn't pay for the return courier even though I wouldn't have bought the seat had the product details been clearer. Trading Standards were no help unfortunately so I just had to chalk up the courier to experience.

They are in Peterborough, we drove up from London a few months ago. It's a nice shop if there are other things you need to get.
