Be safe izi x3 or isize or cybex sirona?

I'm looking for a seat for ds who is a small 2.6 - the plan is we will buy an isofix one to 18kg for now and then when ds2 needs it then we may buy another to 25kg.

We have a ford galaxy so think most things will fit, but I do have 3 dc in the middle row so the cybex sounds good as I could swivel it to let dd climb into the middle seat. I've read it's small though which isn't ideal -though securatot have on their website that there is a new larger version?

The izi x3 gets lots of safety awards and is £100 cheaper than the cybex so that appeals but it's big and I think would have to go in the middle seat which is a pain for actually getting ds into it.
I like the look of the izi isize but can't find a safety comparison with the x3 - does anyone know if it's worth paying an extra £100 for?

Thanks Smile

I think you will find swiveling the seat to let a child get in the middle wont work as where will she stand when you swivel it back. At 2.6 he should be able to climb into the seat him self then you only have to reach over to strap him in. I have seen 2 year olds climb into rear facing seats.

Does the galaxy have storage boxes in the floor as if it does that may be a problem as the leg has to be long enough to go in it to the bottom.

Interesting you think he could climb into it himself.. I assumed it would be too difficult as there's a car seat either side of him and the sides looked a bit high?

If swivelled she could then stand in front of her own seat IYSWIM - it's just to let her get into the middle seat past ds's car seat. But I spoke to securatot this morning and they think the cybex is too tiny to bother with. Damn!

Now just to decide on x3 or new isize.... Any thoughts? Is the leg room better on the new one?
