new britax ERF seat

I'm beginning to think I've imagined this. I seen a thread a while ago where a new britax car seat was mentioned. it's £220, same as the 2 way elite that we already have, but it also can we used with a three point seatbelt until 12ish years (can't remember how many kg!)

I want to get this new one for my car and give the 2 way elite to my parents for their car.

anyone know which one I'm talking about?

I should have said it's for my 4yr old, 18kg DS to forward face in and still have a 5 point harness.

There is this very new one www.britax.co.uk/car-seats/car-seats/advansafix but I don't know the RRP.

Or they did briefly sell the Xtensafix (I think that was what it was called) which was more or less the same thing but it got recalled because of some potential problem when it was being used in high backed booster mode www.britax.co.uk/customer-service/britax-xtensafix

But of course they are FF only. I've not heard about any new ERF seats www.britax.co.uk/car-seats/rearward-facing-car-seats/rearward-facing-your-choice

advansafix, that's it! thank you Flowers

I didn't realise it's not RF. that won't be a problem though as we still have the 2-way elite to use ERF (for baby number two who I'm not even pregnant with to use when he/she grows out an infant carrier.

I like forward planning Grin

do you know if the advansafix is isofix only when in 5-point-harness mode?

now that I've typed that it seems so obvious given the name.
