I'm sure this subject has been raised before but can only find old threads on it. Basically I need a new car seat for DD, nearly 4. I've been looking at high back boosters but can only find ones which secure child with the adult seatbelt or with harness up to 15kg. I don't feel that's she's ready to be out of a harness but am struggling to find an alternative. Anybody have an ideas on this - preferably one with isofix. Thanks in advance. Ps have seen the britax two way elite which might tick the box but would like to explore any other possibilities.

the harness does them up until 18kgs. (15kgs is the minimum weight for a non-harnessed hbb but you can use the harness until 18kgs). There are not many options for a harness above 18kgs

Thanks for your reply - no there doesn't seem much out there, I perhaps just need to stop searching and stick with what's around. Having looked at the instruction manual to the britax you link to, it looks as though the harness should only be used to 25kg if rearward facing and although I know all the facts and figures about rear facing being safer (indeed my 2.5yr old is rf in a sirona) given she's been ff since 18 months (didn't know about rf then) I can't see her happily now turning around!
