Does the Maxi Cosi Pebble fit onto the Easy Fix base?

I have been offered an EasyFix base, but prefer the pebble over the cabriofix. Does anybody know if you can use it with that base, or will it only fit the FamilyFix?

It doesn't I'm afraid. We couldn't have the familyfix base in our car but had to have a base (slopey sports car seats) and therefore had to get the cabriofix with the easyfix base.

Damn it. Thanks for posting though.

There's not much difference between the cabriofix and pebble anyway and it's probably a good thing not to be locked into using the pearl as your next seat (as you would be if you got the familyfix base)

Plus familyfix base isn't massively practical if you have one child in the pebble and one child in the pearl at the same time as you end up having to buy two bases anyway so why not have just bought two different ones?

Funny but be just twigged about this too. We've bought a pebble and ordered the easy fix base from the shop that we are getting the pram from and they assure me it fitted ok. But according to the manufacturer it doesn't! There is an easy fix base 2 that's belted rather than isofix but I can't see the point in that

Definitely last child, so no worries about needing another family fix base. I thought the pebble looked like it might last slightly longer than the cabriofix, but apparently the shell is identical. I wanted the pebble because it looks like the head support is better as well

The pebble lies flatter than the cabriofix. You could def sell the base afterwards and get decent money for it

Hmmm interesting. I did think the cabriofix was a bit upright with the last one.. hmm will have to have a proper look at one soon.

They can't stay in it as long as the pebble. If you do a lot of car journeys especially over an hour it might be worth looking at a flatter style

Would the pebble last longer then do you think?

Sorry didn't see your reply!

I meant they can do longer in it ie up to 3 hours I think whereas the cabriofix is 1 hour ish. Not totally sure of the exact timings but that's approx right
