does anyone have any experience with this car seat? I am looking at getting the twone for ds and dd who is due in july and love the carrycot/ car seat option it offers. just wonder if anyone has any advice on the pros and cons of this car seat, thanks

I had the twone (sold it for space issues) but I had the matrix light for the twins and it was a god send! I loved the lie flat position and so did the twins, a little heavy but nothing to worry about, it's great as you can choose a few positions for your child to be in without disturbing them.

Only cons I could think of was it needs 1 1/2 car seats for lie flat position with isofix, a full row for non isofix, the weight, and the weight limit/size limit.

I absolutely loved it. If that helps haha.

That's a great help, thanks. It looks great on paper. Just a couple of questions, what is the weight limit? And can you use it sat up on the pushchair frame? For when baby is older obv

We never tried it, but I'm guessing you can as two of the positions can't be used in the car seat mode under safety regulations. So I'm sure they're used for the pushchair mode.

The weight limit for the lie-flat position is up to 10kg about 9 months - I'd hoped to keep them flat as long as possible but this is the bit I didn't like about the weight.

For the sitting-up positions is around 13kg, I think.

thanks mamablue thats not too bad, my 12 month old isnt 10kg yet so if this one is a similar size to her brother it should do us a while. think i am definitely veering towards the twone with the matrix car seat
