my 3.5 yr old DD1 is in the besafe izi combi isofix in my honda civic and in a kiddy guardian in DH's/GP's cars. DD2 (7 months) is still in a maxicosi babycarrier. My civic is probably going to have to be changed for a newer car as it is becoming v unreliable. As DH had a big estate car we could have one smaller car but even if I could get the kiddy and the baby seat in for now I'd need to be able to get the besafe in again when DD2 gets too big for the babyseat in 6 months time (or maybe sooner as she is huge)

I'd need a 5 door car for ease of getting them in and out, what can anyone suggest that would be smallish, economical and fit the monsterseat?

The besafe fits in a Honda Jazz.

It fits in a (Grande) Punto too. But only really an option if the passenger is a shortarse like me

If you go most places as a family in the big car, and just have a smaller car for running around in without a front passenger, I'd find it hard to fault my Punto. I can fit a pushchair and a monster supermarket shop in the boot too.

It fits in a VW Golf and Seat Leon, but doesn't give much legroom to front passenger in either.

How often would you have a front passenger in and how long would the journeys be? I've managed in the front in both for a few hours, and whilst not ideal you can cope. I'm 5ft8" if that helps.
