Britax Prince or Britax Eclipse

My mum wants to buy a car seat for when she collects my DS from nursery on the odd occasion. She is looking at the above 2. I advised her to stick to Britax or Maxi Cosi as a general rule for brands with good safety ratings. She doesn't want to spend a fortune and there are good offers on the above 2 items at present.

Does anyone know how they compare safety wise?

I would go with what fits in her car the best. Eclipse is a newer seat. The prince was around at least 15 years ago (it was called a freeway then) Eclipse has a few more features. It can easily be reclined has clips to hold straps back
