Stage 1 car seat easy to get in and out of car

Hi, I'm looking for a stage 1 car seat (9 months - 4 years) which would be really easy to take in and out of the car as I don't drive and get lifts with other people frequently. Are there any makes you can recommend for ease of installation or ones to avoid? Thanks! Smile

In my experience the easiest harnessed seat to fit and move is the maxi cosi priori. It also fits most cars.

An alternative would be something like the cybex Isis which has an impact cushion. These are super easy to move and much lighter than the harnessed seats. would say you might want to try your LO in one as they take a bit of getting used to but they actually get excellent safety results (better than 5 point harnesses).

Have a look on very.com for the Isis.

The Kiddy seats with impact cushion are best in my experience also as a non driver. They're very light and fit in seconds. :) I think the Cybex would be similar but haven't tried one - anyway I definitely recommend the seats with impact shield.

Thanks bertie! They look so simple to use. Am very interested in getting that type. I will look at the Kiddy ones too. Smile

Second the kiddy seats. Easy to move and light.

Shield is great too.

Only a suggestion of one to avoid - do not get the britax evolva - its heavy and reallydifficult to install.
