dangers?

hi i am a new mum with a stokke pram carseat. i'm about to buy a 2007 volvo s40. is it safe to put a carseat in the back of any car, as long as you face the seat to the back window? do i have to turn off back seat airbags if there are any or is it just a given that you can seat an infant in the back? thankyou! i am on my own and keep getting conflicting advice

as long as you follow the instructions for the car seat carefully you can't go far wrong!
you won't need to turn airbags off
