Car seats

Where to buy rearfacing in Sussex or Hampshire or Surrey.

I have come to the conclusion that the only way to get 3 across in our car is to have rearfacing in the middle. We have such issues with short seatbelts and seats covering the seatbelt clasps that there is no way I can order without trying.I really would have to buy one of the Britax ones like the TWE as cost is an issue too but whenever I do a google search I just come up with places that do Britax ff seats. Anyone know of anywhre nearer than Milton Keynes or Essex where I can buy one?

We're on Surrey/Sussex border and went to Essex to get a trial for the 3rd car seat (we went with a Britax First Class for DD3 to go with out TWE & Nordic Secura).

They really were worth the drive although it did mean DH took a day off work so we could get it sorted (I don't drive so it was going in his car).

Hi, the only place in the uk to buy the twe is the in car safety centre in belfast or milton keynes. Some shops sell the britax multitech. Think they're listed on the britax website.

Not what I wanted to hear nicm but thanks! We are right on the south coast so MK is way to far to drive on the offchance of the seat fitting.

If you wanted to meet up at some point you could try out our TWE. We are on the Surrey/Sussex border (big town near the airport).

I live in Gosport and am awaiting delivery of a Besafe IZI Kid X3 (isofix) in the next few days. I know this is not a TWE but its good to compare. :)

If you want, your more than welcome to come and trial the seat in your car once it arrives.

We have a Peugeot 307 ( they seem to be many diff ones). The trip to MK is a 5 or 6 hour round trip and the car is dh's work car so he would have to take time off work to go. It is very kind of you all to offer to let me try your seats, I will PM if I don't get anywhere with local contacts ( I tell everyone about my carseat problem hoping that they will get so bored that they find a friend of a friend with a twe or similar to let me try.).
