Hi. my son is in the britax two way elite in my car but i need a spare seat for husbands car. I cant afford another rearfacing seat so was thinking of getting the cybex pallas as a spare seat. Can anyone recommend it and how is it different from the Kiddy? ive just noticed that the pallas is much cheaper.

i've got one for GP's car it is fab. just been a 2 hour journey to the zoo in it yesterday and DS3 16mths slept all the way. He is normally in a besafe inour car and doesn't bother with switching from rear to forward facing.

thank you. Great to hear that it doesnt cause any problems switching from RFing to FFing . Is it true that it requires quite long seat belts? thanks

It does but i think most cars are fine.
It is ok in my MIL polo, Mums Skoda, Dad's Passat, and FIL galaxy.
It did not fit in my BIL R reg Jeep Cherokee

ok great thank you. we are car shopping at the moment so will wait to get the new car before getting the seat. Although ive just noticed online that mamas and papas have put the price up to £145 instead of £120. missed that bargain!

Hello, I have both the kiddy comfort pro and the cybex pallas as a second car seat. I must say I much prefer the kiddy; it is much easier to use with the seat belt, I find the front cushion of the pallas grips the belt too much so it is really difficult to get the belt tight enough to be safe. Both seem to be comfy enough though. I do regret getting the cybex to be honest as it drives me mad.

oh really? is the kiddy pro the one that lasts till age 11? the only down side to that is i dont want to spend too much as it will only be used as spare and if i spend over £200 on a kiddy seat then i may as well buy another two way elite.
