My toddler has been in his BeSafe rear-facing seat for over a year now and, although it's comfortable for him and feels very secure, I have always had a problem with tightening the shoulder straps evenly. I can manage to get them almost even, but pulling the tightening strap adjusts the right shoulder much more than the left, and I'm pulling so hard on his right shoulder strap to get the left one anywhere near secure that it must be uncomfortable for him. It has gotten to the point where Grandma, Daddy etc. leave it to me to strap him in, since I can sort of fix it (I fiddle for up to 5 minutes to get it almost right - not easy with a 2-year old who wants to get moving)! It has gotten worse over time and he actually managed to get his arms out of the harness the other day when I was driving . I have left a message with the company who sold it to me but just wanted to know - has anyone else had this problem? How did you fix it?
