I just started my own camping site, don't worry I'm not spamming it's non profit on webs.net. I asked mumsnet HQ if it's ok to mention it on here and they realise it isn't for cash and said it's ok. Just have to make sure I don't post this everywhere which I won't be.
I just thought it'd be nice to get mums together to chat about camping, show pictures, give tips all in one place. It might not work and that's ok too but it'd be nice if I could get a few of us together as a trial at least. I think there may be more of us in the future camping, what with the credit crunch and so many losing jobs. I do it to save money but also because I love it. I'm very new to camping and welcome seasoned campers and newbies alike.

I've made the site private now as it'll be mostly family orientated and there are pictures of children on there. I have to accept members so just put a note saying you're from mumsnet etc if there's somewhere to do that? It's all new to me so I'm just learning.

Caravanners, dads, pet-lovers, are welcome too I just liked the name mums-tent so that's what started me off.
