Camping

Where can I get fleecy pyjamas for 2 and 4 year old

We are hoping to go camping this weekend and it still seems a bit chilly at night to me! Is there anywhere I can get fleecy pj's most shops round here have all their summer clothes.

I suspect I should have been more organised and bought some in the winter .

I always get dd's in Primark, but I don't know if they have any right now.

Alternatively could you put them in two pairs, or a normal fleece jumper over the top?

I add a layer of thermals underneath normal pjs ..as never got organised enough to buy fleece pj's they have worked really well and my ds is not fond of the cold...can get in millets pretty much all year round and have had 2 years wear out of them...same ones everynight as dry v quickly if needed..

tbh, I just stick their coats on them

have never known my kids (3 and 5) get cold at night when camping, for some reason. We have a stand off every single evening at bedtime (when camping) because I insist that they put their coats on, in case this is the night of the freak midsummer frost, and the kids (and dp) pointing out that in ten minutes time they will be sleeping in just a t shirt.

The 1 year old is the same, the first night we went camping she kept waking up and crying and dp (not me) realised that she was too hot in her fleecy pjs, fleecy all in one, and sleeping bag. (nb it was the last weekend in April)

I have insisted on buying them highly expensive super-dooper 4/5 season sleeping bags which they then unzip and lie on top of. FFS.

Thanks all - fillyjonk you have made me giggle! I've not resorted to coats just yet!
I just like the idea of comfy fleecy pj's and was wondering where to get them. The last time we went camping I used Aldi thermals which seemed to work well and their own pyjamas and a jumper, and socks too. We hhave three season sleeping bags so they should be fine, I just like the idea of fleecy pj's which seem to get mentioned a lot on here.

I'll make sure I get some next winter.
