I need a warmer sleeping bag! Any recommendations

After freezing this weekend I have decided the rubbish sleeping bags have to go.
I had blankets underneath and I use a fat airic,so the weakest link is the sleeping bag. (They were only cheap).
I just couldn't get warm this weekend, this led to me still being cold in the day .

Any recommendations? The warmer the better! Ideally one the that can be fastened with another to make a double.
Thanks

i've just bought myself this....

not the smallest to pack up and most 'camping' sort of bag but it is really lovely and snuggly... and roomy!!!. have yet to take it camping but i was after warmth and comfort and it certainly feels like that when lying on the floor of our sitting room... like i said doesn't pack up ultra small but has the comfort factor!!!

i take duvets - my days of treking up hills with teeny tiny tents are over.

I use a sleeping bag liner, you can get them in cotton or silk. Mine is silk (soo warm) and the kids have cotton ones, it makes a huge difference!
I can't camp without them.

Buy a silk sleeping bag liner (the rectangular shape rather than the mummy shape so there is more room). It should add 2°C of "sleeping warmth".

Thank for all the ideas.
A fleece lined one sounds fab!
We would struggle to get the duvet in the car along with all the other stuff.
A liner sounds like the answer as DH was fine and not at all cold. So if I bought a warmer double he might spend all the night kicking it off and then I'd still be cold.

I will look into silk liners, thanks everybody!
