Anyone been there? Thinking of going with eurocamp/keycamp in May. Don't normally go in for larger sites but want enough to keep ds1 5yrs occupied.

HI, My sister said it was the cleanest site she had ever been to.
But it rained a lot.

I thought it might not be too touristy in May and was tempted by the children's activity club run by Eurocamp that starts in the middle of May. I must admit I'm a bit worried it will be a bit of a Butlins abroad but we went to an idillic little site in the Dordogne last year and DS1 was a bit bored - very few children around and no organised activities so I was trying to get the balance better this time.

I have been to this site when my kids were 6 and 9 years old. Lovely site and quite a lot to do for the kids. beach is walking distance and gorgeous! cheapish supermarket is a 5 minute drive away and has everything you will need. for us the only problem was that the people running the site did not seem to like Brits to much and were not very friendly or helpful when it come to things like information re: post ofice, where to get cash etc. Put us off to be honest! BUT, and this is a BIG BUT.... this was 6 years ago and apparently the Brits had bought a lot of houses in the area and had not integrated at all and priced a lot of the locals out of the area..... so maybe they were a bit bitter??? I don't know? would I go again? Yes for the lovely area and beach, and the site. But no because of their attitude towards us (it was a long time ago though so please bare this in mind).
