any great ideas for ones that have great things like working farms etc.

Want to book for next year as in the past has always been a last minute where can we fit in job so would like to get somewhere really nice.

No working farm but kids love great Langdale in the Lakes. Great location and adventure playground in the centre of the family field. Good clean shower block as well.

Just back from our second trip to Eweleaze Farm in Dorset. It is kids' heaven. They have working sheep dogs that you can take out on a lead for walks, a private beach, great rock pools, haystacks in the fields (you camp wherever you want - no marked pitches) for kids to climb, there are kittens, chickens and geese, the corner field suffers regular incursions by sheep which the kids then round up and chase manically, and they let you light real campfires. Haven't found anything that compares in the UK. DD says the biggest problem with Eweleaze is how much straw you end up with in your knickers. Google eweleaze. They are only open for a month in the summer though....
