1st weekend camping on my own in 3 years!!No REAL point in post!!

Last weekend I had camping was in the year DD was due (05) on the last May bank holiday. I've become a "dogsbody" for SARDA (Search & Rescue Dogs Association) & had a training weekend near Morpeth. The accomodation normally is Hostels, either Scout/YHA's, but this w/e it was floor of village hall or the bit of grass in front of village hall-not REAL camping, but made me realise how much I've missed it!! 2 nights under canvas-even though it did rain majority of Saturday!! Note to self- don't pitch tent near down drainpipe-with a broken drain!! Soggy!! Also to double check the airbed has no holes-pumped it up at home before I left-didn't make sure that it stayed inflated-D'Oh!! FORTUNATELY someone had a repair kit!! But all in all-good time. The smell of the tent-it was sooo good!! (saunders spacepacker-small but for 1 person for only a few nights it's perfect!). Can't wait for a proper long w/e when I can take DD!!
