If you do, you need to find yourself a Girl Guide! Seriously! Any Guide who presents their Promise Badge in Millets gets a 10% discount. Not huge amount, when its Millets, but discount nevertheless!

I'm a Guider myself and I never knew! It was dd's Guider who mentioned it at a camp meeting tonight! That'll teach me to open my Guiding magazine and promptly file it!

You could become a guider and help at a Rainbow,Brownie or guide unit and then you would get the 10% yourself. Oh not to mention its darn good fun too

Just do try to remember to take your warrant card with your when you go shopping

I've just looked on the Guiding website and it says it only applies to Senior section (18-25 yrs) I will check with hq tomorrow I think, because it is worth having, if you are buying a tent, for example. Alternatively, you only have to show your Promise badge as proof and they are 80p each, available online!

I used DD's Duke of Edinburgh card for a Millets discount on my walking boots.

It works in most camping stores (Blacks, Millets, Cotswold) and has saved us a fortune! Even if you forget the card, we say "Oops, will come back with card" and they say "no problem, have 10% off"
