.... I was really drawn to the Coleman Cedar Creek last autumn but now I'm wavering again.

Any ideas anyone? DH is 6ft 2.

We got the Blacks Cairngorn last year because it was on sale, DH could stand in the middle section (i think) but not the bedrooms. Have you tried ebay? A friend got a bargin there last year on her tent.

We have that tent - the cedar creek one. It is awesome. DH is 6'2" too.

Thanks Islamum

I think it might be - we have only put it up once, in howling winds, in a completely unsheltered field, drunk with no instructions.

We managed...

, must be relatively easy then!

I liked the look of that one for weekends. I was worried about the size of the second room though. can you fit 2 single airbeds in? Our double is 137cm and appears to be too big.

DH is also 6'2 and we're looking at getting the Outwell Hartford either XL or XXL.

Have been and had a look and DH can easily stand in them.

BIL has the Vando Diablo 900, DH can also stand up in that.

I have a Coleman Cedar Creek that I bought second hand last spring. I pitched it three times last summer on my own (am single mama) and it did take a little time (maybe 30 mins) but not difficult. Trickier when it was windy, but I managed fine.

I am tall and I LOVE the height. We call it the Green Box. We managed to fit three airbeds in the larger pod, and I am thinking that a double would fit in the smaller pod, but they do taper slightly at the rear of the tent.

Thanks squiddler Still unsure but it looks such a nice tent in every other way.

Thanks for replies. That's good to hear squiddler, that you can pitch it on your own as DH is a very reluctant camper so there will be occasions when he isn't with us.

I think I'm going to go for it. It's £149.99 on line at the moment and DH has said he'll buy it for my birthday next week .
