A quiet, rural, wild campsite, without a club and all that.

Nice loos and showers

Pitches round the edge so there is a big play area of grass in the middle, not rammed in.

Under £20 a night.

Bottom half of UK please, 4 hours from London max.

Recommnedations please

Kbear have you looked at joining the caravan and camping club, Pops use to belong to it we used to stay on farms in north Devon, they were great, and very simple, used to buy our morning eggs and rolls from one near ilfracombe.

I did look at the C&CC actually shoshable, stayed at one of their sites at Kessingland in July. Will join next year I think. There's a nice site at Verwood that I've seen too.

(Have you noticed BTW that the sun is shining now Mo has gone away for the weekend - when we were away it was mostly rubbish weather - humph).

Kbear
Westermill Farm should fulfill all your requirements. There are no set pitches but unless its really busy most people pitch around the edges and there are acres of land around the farm to play on. Its my favorite site
