Eurocamp v Keycamp

We've been with Eurocamp for the last 4 years but have just priced up the same holiday for next year with both and Keycamp came out quite a bit cheaper. Has anyone been with both and found any difference?

Never been with Eurocamp, but I have been with Canvas and Keycamp. Find them much the same. Slight differences between tends and caravans, but nothing major. They often share campsites, as you probaby know.

Keycamp were fine. Tent and caravan were of good standard.

lilibet i went to st jean de monts - its a haven owned site but the usual suspects have their tents on there was le dormant and le masson or sommat similar - 2 sites accross the road from each other - each had a diferent pool complex and bar which you could use - dormant was the quieter - the other one felt a bit butlinsesq - fine occasionally for those nights where you really want to get pissed and do the macarena - but not all the time. it had a little train that went into the town - you have to pay something cant remember how much- the town was great bit bohemian come brightonish. the beach has bouncy castles and trampolines right outside a cafe - not associated, which meant i could give the kids some money tell em to sod off for 30 mins enjoy a REAL cup of coffee whilst dh had a beer.

we also hired a bycycle thing with a hood on and four wheels which we all peddled up the seafront and round the roundabout ( the wrong way) i had a great time

as for recomendations on tent providers ..... if i tell you a secret will you promise cross your heart and hope to melt, that you wont go blaggin all over the place to make the prices shoot up???

try venue. a little less site choice. amenities a little more basic - ie. no kitchen unit in tent to prepare food - but there was the same cooker thingy - so we just used the table - saved us at least £300. not exagerating either. they dont have a kids club - but that doeant apply to me as mine are too old now - but when they wern't i could never be arsed getting up with a red wine hangover and signing them in - think i only did it 3 times in 12 days.

good hunting
