Boss has said that I can have his old (but in good working order) vw camper for the summer hols they are going abroad for the duration.
DH cannot come due to work commitments. So it will be me and dd who will be 6. Thinking of going to Perranporth but
I am a bit concerned about being 'safe' on my own IYKWIM.
Any suggestions???

Oh I am so so

I think you will be fine on your own. Or could you invite a friend along?

Have a close look at the site you'll be on - perranporth will be heaving in the summer so choose wisely - make sure it's one that has gates that close at night, some even have a 'warden' patrolling the site at night too.

Campers are a friendly lot and campsites are notoriously safe in terms of you as a person and your belongings - it's the strangers who stray onto the sites that are a concern.

My biggest tip is to make friends with the people next door to you on the site - then you can all look after each other.

Also very at your lovely boss - where is going btw if he afford to 'give away' his camper for the summer?
