Going travelling (in the UK) & so will need TV & internet

I have an EE Wifi box which seems like it might work

But is there a better way?

We use an unlocked MiFi and buy whichever data sim is cheapest. Using it for tv uses loads though ,you need an all you can eat sim for that imo
We take the freesat box and portable dish rarely fails to get signal

According to the website i checked one hour non hd tv uses 250mb 1 hour HD uses 2 GB
You could use something like a Sumvision Media player to watch films on to cut down your usage

You download films or convert your DVDs to files and store on its hard drive then watch without internet or aerial/dish
Works on 12volt in car or tent and plays to tv with hd or av inputs
Useful if you download torrents

So it's better to download stuff from iplayer than to watch it
