Not D or C but 3 Cliffs Bay in the Gower has what looks like good climbing on the rocks on the beach. I wouldn't recommend the campsite for under 5s or so as it is a real scramble down to the beach (so perhaps not for your knee either!)

really depends on your style. Fields with bgs and sinks, free to shout and scream, or just kick a ball around with out hassling others. or sites with pools, indoor soft play, entertainment. What are you into.

i stayed at Dennis cove campsite in padstow a couple of years ago, it is a beautiful spot overlooking the estuary. It is 5 or 10 mins walk in to padstow and is also right on the camel trail where you can hire bikes. Don't know about the climbing though.

not ignoring you. We have tonnes of stuff on sites in cornwall and devon, plus experience of. Will have to pin DP down to point me in the right direction of stuff. I do remember a lovely site near mevagissey (south coast) a few animals, feeding of, a little out door pool, play area in the middle (easy to watch DC.) Do you know which part of cornwall/devon where climbing is popular. Sorry, could tell you beaches, and surf. I'll post again hopefully tomorrow on this.

Sounds like you need Charmouth, not sure about climbing (but probably is- that sort of thing popular there), however loads of good guided cliff walks / fossil hunts etc on the beach, a nice quiet place and a decent campsite-

we like Wood Farm campsite, its campsite perfection in our opinion , really love it.

HTH

cornwall-online.co.uk. We stopped at trencreek farm last year and loved it. Maybe try tourist info first, for climbing side of things.
