Help! need to find a french campsite preferably by the beach in the south

Have usually booked up holidays well in advance but for some reason this year we've not got round to it.

Can anyone recommend a good campsite on the south coast of France? Not looking for a huge site, would probably prefer a smaller site, but if you know of a good large one please feel free to recommend.

La Domaine de la Bergerie near Roquebrune Sur Argens. It's a little bit inland, but not far from beach if you're driving and it's absolutely fab.

A few years ago we went to Les Mediterranees - Beach Garden on Marseillan Plage. It backs right onto the beach. Beach was very gently shelving so was very good for our toddler DD.

Later this year we're going to Camping Cala Gogo, St. Cyprien - it also backs right onto the beach.

Camping Le Brasilia is a Yelloh site right on the beach down in the south not too far from Perpignan. It is a large site and has great facilities but the immediate local area isn't up to much. However, it is driveable to nice places, including Collioure which is a lovely town and also has a nice campsite near it - Castels Les Criques de Porteils, although there are plenty of other campsites in that area I think.

Hi please can I ask has anyone stayed in a mobile home with a covered decking? I am booking for South West France for Jul/Aug. We have stayed many times before but further north and always with decking but never covered- I not sure why so many homes have it? Normally we like to sit outside in the evening on the decking but these are covered on 3 sides - will we still enjoy the mobile home not sure of it will feel like we are inside all the time? But I read a review that said too many flies to sit outside? Thx for any advice.

We loved covered decks as gave some proper shade in the furnace heat near St Tropez and again near Barcelona. Meant we could sit outside at all. They didn't have sides though, but some vans had sides you could roll up,or down. Don't think we had a covered deck in Gascony, but given the choice and budget I would choose one.
