Campsites in Norfolk/near Norwich

Hello. I'm thinking of a short camping trip after Easter and thinking Norfolk as we'll be visiting family in Cambridge at Easter.

We'd like family friendly, nice facilities, close enough to Norwich for day trips. Oh, and we've got a 6 man tent but no need for electric hook up.

Any ideas? Thanks!

We haven't camped here but Whitlingham is only a short walk or bus ride from Norwich city centre if you want to be very close..

It is next to the outdoor ski slopes we go to sometimes, other than that and knowing where it is I don't know much about it but I would give it a try myself if I needed somewhere near the city.

There is another not too far away that allows fires but has mixed reviews, mainly people moaning about noisy groups, if I can find my bookmark I will post back.

You could try Kelling Heath - about 45 mins away I think, Deers Glade about the same. I have been to Deers Glade once which was nice, it was about 5 years ago now though (we usually do wild sort of places but all these are close to home).

We had planned on visiting Kelling Heath (has indoor pool and lots going on apparently) for a night of two out of season but haven't managed it yet.

You can search by town and distance from town on UK Campsite which is useful.
