although tunnel tents use the space much better than dome/pod tents.

Surely the idea of going camping is for a change, not for a 'home from home' holiday? That's one of the reasons we don't like holiday home type holidays - oh and it's nice not to have to clean the bathroom for a fortnight, get somone else to do it!
or is that just our family?
